We only stock Mitsubishi cars and parts.

When you call with specifics, we can check our stock and let you know. If not, we’ll use our Hotline Auto Parts SA to locate the correct part for you.

If we don't have the second hand part in stock we will try and source one for you or offer to find a new genuine or aftermarket part if available from one of our many suppliers.

Yes, our qualified and licenced team can service or repair your Mitsubishi car. We only work on Mitsubishi’s, no other makes of cars.

Yes, if it is salvageable and has parts we need, we will buy it from you.

Yes, we will remove your motor and install the one you purchase from us. We will explain costs and what extras we provide with the installation.

Yes, we can install parts that you purchase. We will quote the cost for installation depending upon the item to be installed

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Mitsi-Bits Auto Recyclers & Repairs offer a three-month warranty on used & second-hand parts (unless otherwise stated). Not including body panels.

  • Proof of purchase of the original invoice must be provided on all returns and warranty claims. (Not transferable)
  • Parts returned must be received within 14 days of invoice date.
  • All warranty periods commence from the date shown on the invoice/receipt and will not commence from the installation date of the part.
  • All body parts sold as inspected.
  • All goods become the responsibility of the customer on removal or dispatch from our store. We do not insure goods in transport and will not be responsible for costs in transport.
  • Mitsi-Bits Auto Recyclers & Repairs is NOT responsible for any consequential loss or damage, loss of income or downtime because of the failure of a part sold.

Your Refund Rights

You are entitled to a refund if the goods purchased are:

  • Faulty (the fault not being caused by you)
  • Do not match the description or sample provided by us.
  • You are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind or make a wrong choice.

Credit/ Exchange Procedure

Should an item purchased be no longer required a credit will be offered or we can exchange the part for another item. Parts for

Credit may incur a 20% handling fee at management discretion.

All goods must be accompanied by the original receipt/ invoice.

Warranty on Engines/ Gearboxes/ Automatic Transmissions/ Differentials

Engines are warranted against excessive smoking, knocking and excessive oil usage.

All engines must have the radiator cleaned thoroughly, also heater and radiator hoses including fan belts be checked and replaced if necessary. Warranty will be cancelled if this procedure is not followed. In the event of signs of malfunction of engine or transmission/gearbox, it is the responsibility of the customer to cease operation of the vehicle immediately. Failure to comply with this condition may result in more serious damage and risk of voiding warranty. Contact must then be made with Mitsi-Bits Auto Recyclers & Repairs to ascertain a resolution.

  • Engines are sold as long bare motors (changeover basis may apply). Accessories are left on engines for our testing purposes only. Accessories are not guaranteed to be correct for your model and are not covered under warranty. The customer must swap or supply parts where necessary to conform to your vehicle.
  • New seals & timing belt to be fitted to validate warranty. Cooling system must be serviced.
  • All transmissions must be fitted with a new filter kit & front seal by a qualified transmission repairer. Transmission cooler and lines flushed. Warranty will be void if not carried out.
  • Broken gears on differentials and gearboxes are excluded from warranty.
  • A qualified mechanic is recommended as warranty maybe cancelled if installed incorrectly by customer.
  • In the event of a dispute that is not resolved by management a third party who is recognised and accepted by both parties can adjudicate on the claim.

Freight
All goods become the responsibility of the customer on removal or dispatch from our store. We do not insure goods in transport and will not be responsible for costs in transport.

Freight must be paid on all returns and in the original packaging.
